About CampusEats
CampusEats is a mini-project turned real-world concept that re-imagines how students order food inside the college campus by connecting the canteen, hostel blocks and classrooms on a single interface. [web:268][web:274]
During peak lunch breaks and evening snack time, most college canteens get overcrowded. Students wait in long queues, shout orders over the counter and often have to skip food because of limited breaks between classes. [web:268][web:274]
CampusEats was designed to remove this friction by letting students browse the entire menu, place orders online and get food delivered to their hostel or a pickup counter without wasting time in line. The goal is simple: more time for classes and friends, less time waiting for food. [web:268][web:274]
This interface is developed as a college mini project using HTML, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript and a modular page structure for customers, admins and riders. The UI is kept clean and scalable so it can be connected to any backend or database later. [web:266][web:269]
A typical crowded college canteen inspired the idea of bringing structured menus, online ordering and live order status into a single campus-focused platform. [web:268][web:274]
